Celebrity is a pass-the-phone party game. It is built to work without accounts and without collecting personal information. This policy explains exactly what happens to data when you use it.

The short version

There is no sign-up, no login, and no advertising. The game itself runs entirely on your device. The only information that leaves your phone is what is needed to process and restore a Celebrity+ subscription, and that information is not tied to your name or identity.

Information stored on your device

The following is saved on your phone only, and never transmitted to us:

Player names and team names you type in
Your current game, scores and progress
Custom celebrity lists you create
Your settings, such as theme, sound and vibration preferences

Deleting the app removes all of it. We have no copy and no way to retrieve it.

Subscriptions

Celebrity+ subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple. We never see or receive your payment details, card number or billing address — those stay with Apple.

To keep track of whether a subscription is active, and to restore it when you reinstall the app or change devices, we use RevenueCat. When you subscribe or restore a purchase, RevenueCat receives:

A randomly generated, anonymous ID for your installation — not your name, email or Apple ID
Purchase and receipt information from Apple (which plan, when it started, whether it is active)
Basic device and app information, such as device model, operating system version and app version
Your IP address, which RevenueCat uses to determine country and then discards

This is used only to deliver the subscription you paid for. It is not used for advertising, and it is not sold or shared for marketing.

App updates

The app can download improvements without a full App Store update. To check whether an update exists, it contacts Expo's update service, which receives basic technical information such as your app version and platform. See Expo's privacy policy.

What we do not do

No accounts, no passwords, no email collection
No advertising and no ad networks
No analytics or behavioural tracking
No access to your contacts, photos, location, camera or microphone
No selling or sharing of personal information — we do not hold any to sell

Children

Celebrity is a general-audience party game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will look into it — though in practice the app is not built to receive it.

Your choices

Delete your data: uninstalling the app removes everything stored on your device.
Manage your subscription: open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
Request deletion of subscription records: contact us using the address below and we will ask RevenueCat to delete the anonymous records associated with your installation.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that affects how information is handled, the date at the top of this page will be updated. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the revised policy.
